This policy explains the general approach to refunds and cancellations. Service-specific rules may add to these conditions.
Refund & cancellation policy
This policy explains how QuickUpay handles refunds, cancellations and failed transactions. It applies alongside the terms of the relevant service and the rules of the underlying partner.
When a refund may apply
- A transaction fails but the amount is debited.
- A duplicate transaction is confirmed after review.
- A service cannot be delivered and the partner confirms a reversal.
- A cancellation is permitted for the specific service.
Failed and duplicate transactions
Report a failed or duplicate transaction with the reference number as soon as possible. We will verify the status with the partner. If the amount is confirmed as not settled, a reversal is initiated.
Bank and card charges
Charges levied by a bank, card network or partner may not be refundable. Where a service fee applies, it is shown or communicated before the transaction where possible.
Refund processing
Approved refunds are processed to the original payment source where possible. Timelines depend on the partner and your bank, and typically range from a few working days to the partner's stated cycle. We will share the applicable timeline when the refund is confirmed.
Partial cancellation
Where a service permits partial cancellation, the refundable amount is calculated after adjusting charges and services already delivered.
General conditions
Refunds are subject to verification and partner confirmation. This policy does not limit any statutory rights. For assistance, contact us using the details below.
